Fumbi Will Support the Migration & Token Swap of Maker (MKR) to Sky (SKY)

Fumbi will support the migration and swap of the Maker (MKR) token to Sky (SKY). The migration and swap of the $MKR token to the $SKY token will take place from September 11, 2025, to September 12, 2025.

A token migration and swap is a process in which an existing cryptocurrency token is exchanged for a new one. This usually happens when a project transitions to a new technology, changes its infrastructure, or rebrands. In this case, the MakerDAO community decided that the new Sky Protocol ecosystem will have only one governance token – SKY.

Key Points of the Migration & Token Swap

• The MKR token will be replaced with the SKY token.
  
  
• Fumbi will handle the entire migration process. No action is required from clients.
  
  
• All MKR tokens will be exchanged for SKY tokens at the following ratio: 1 MKR = 24,000 SKY.
  • For example, if you held 0.15 MKR, you will receive 3,600 SKY tokens.
    
    
• Your current MKR token balance will be reset after the migration is completed; however, you will see an increase in your SKY tokens in your profile based on how much MKR you held before the migration.
  
  
• Trading of the MKR token on Fumbi will be suspended on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at 16:00.
  
  
• We expect the migration to be completed no later than Friday, September 12, 2025.
