Delisting Zcash (ZEC) From Fumbi Products

Starting August 1, 2025, we’re stopping support for the Zcash (ZEC) cryptocurrency in our Fumbi Custom and Advanced Portfolios products. This decision is part of getting ready for new regulatory requirements under the European MiCA legislation related to anonymous cryptocurrencies.

What Is the Reason for the Removal of Zcash From Fumbi?

Zcash (ZEC) is one of the so-called privacy coins – cryptocurrencies that provide a high level of anonymity in transactions. Although these technologies have legitimate uses, from a regulatory perspective they pose a higher risk in terms of money laundering and terrorist financing prevention. In line with the upcoming MiCA regulation, we have decided to discontinue support for this cryptocurrency on Fumbi.

How Will the Process Proceed?

• August 1, 2025 – suspension of the option to purchase Zcash (ZEC) cryptocurrency in Fumbi products. From this date, it will no longer be possible to purchase ZEC cryptocurrency in Fumbi, which was available in the Custom Choice and Advanced Portfolios products.
  
  
• August 15, 2025 – until this date, you can exchange Zcash (ZEC) cryptocurrency for another asset (for example, in your portfolio in the Advanced Portfolios product) or sell it to Fumbi Credit.
  
  
• August 16, 2025 – Complete delisting of ZEC from Fumbi products.
  
  
  • Fumbi Custom – If you hold ZEC in this product, all remaining funds in ZEC will be automatically converted to Fumbi credit, which you can use to invest in other cryptocurrencies or products.
    
    
  • Advanced Portfolios – If you hold ZEC in your own portfolio in the Advanced Portfolios product, the Zcash (ZEC) cryptocurrency will be automatically removed from your portfolio and the funds will be redistributed among the other crypto assets in that portfolio.

Our Recommendations

If you hold Zcash in one of the above products, we recommend that you withdraw your funds from this cryptocurrency by August 15, 2025, to avoid automatic conversion after that date.
